Rushcliffe Borough Council have collaborated with local charity the Friary to deliver vital food boxes to some of the Borough’s most vulnerable residents.
The boxes contain essentials items such as bread, pasta, cereals, tinned tomatoes, baked beans and long-life milk.

Friary chief executive, Ben Talbot collected 40 parcels on Friday 3rd April, that have now been distributed to those who are vulnerable and currently self-isolating.
Leader of the Council Cllr Simon Robinson said: “We were delighted to signpost Ben and the team at the Friary to the local efforts at the Hub.
“It is heartening to see they will swiftly distribute the free food boxes to some of those being shielded at home across Rushcliffe.”
