In the last few minutes Downing Street have confirmed the Prime Minster has tested positive for coronavirus.
The Prime Minster was tested after developing mild symptoms on Thursday.
Mr Johnson posted a video on social media explaining he was now self isolating, however he will still work via the 'wizardry of modern technology'.
A Downing Street spokeswoman said: "After experiencing mild symptoms yesterday, the Prime Minister was tested for coronavirus on the personal advice of England's chief medical officer, Professor Chris Whitty."
